Wheelchair transports provide ADA recommended platforms for transporting wheelchairs safely and efficiently. Heavy-duty steel decks are reinforced to handle the load of a wheelchair and provide security for tie-downs (available tie down kit optional). The aluminum ramp is designed to accommodate up to 500 Lbs and is easily retracted and lifted with a side-mounted handle. The ramp locks into the upright transport position automatically. The aluminum guard rails prevent items and occupants from sliding out of the transportation load-zone. The side gate on the driver side can swing out and away to facilitate securing tie-down straps.
